Goals and Aspirations

As a designer, my biggest goal in my career is to become a graphic designer for Vogue, and or ANYTHING for Vogue. That is the ultimate dream job for me, but I would really settle for any role in their company ( just something pertaining to design and layouts). In my life I want to work in publication design and layouts. I hope to be someone who oversees the production of pages in magazines and possibly an art/creative director. Fashion meeting graphic design is my passion and my love. I want to be able to find a way to blend these two quintessential elements in my own life in a harmonious and cohesive union. Although I am also getting a background in branding (with my minor in marketing and going forward with my career at FIDM), my dream is in magazines FOREVER. I love the traditional role they play in our society and the fact that they represent something of another time and are NOT ONLINE, they are concrete and a keepsake you can keep forever. I am not opposed to advertising which would be my second career choice if Vogue won't take me. What I love about advertising is the ambiguity of the subject matter and where you can take a brand. Branding is huge in our world today and to be apart of this massive force that continues to grow would be FABULOUS. That's about it for now.....

Marketing is important. When you were younger didn't you want to work for 17 magazine? Now it is Vogue. Hope Vogue knows how to get the best there will ever be. Watch out world here she comes:)
